| Dr.
Schneider is a 1983 graduate of New York College of Podiatric
Medicine and completed a podiatric preceptorship in New York.
He practiced in New York City for 5 years before moving to
Colorado where he opened Vail's first podiatry practice in
1990. This was followed by offices in Aspen, Frisco and Carbondale
CO. Dr. Schneider is board certified by the American Board
of Medical Specialties in Podiatry and is a Fellow of the
Academy of Ambulatory Foot Surgery. Dr. Schneider is a member
of the Colorado Podiatric Medical Association and is on staff
at the Vail Valley Medical Center. Prior to entering medical
school Dr. Schneider owned and operated a ski shop in New
York. He has brought that experience to the practice in treating
ski and snowboard boot foot problems which as has resulted
in the development of the "SNOWTHOTIC", a custom
orthotic specific for on snow sport activities. In his free
time Dr. Schneider enjoys sport motorcycling, bicycling, sea
kayaking and skiing. He lives in Eagle-Vail. |

T. Maurer, DPM, FACFAS |

Dr. Maurer is a 1995 graduate of the William M. Scholl College
of Podiatric Medicine and completed a two-year foot and ankle
surgical residency in Chicago. He has been in practice here
in Colorado since 1997. Dr. Maurer has training and experience
in all aspects of foot and ankle surgery including forefoot
and rearfoot reconstruction, trauma and wound care. He is
board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric
Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and
Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Maurer has a special interest in sports
medicine and is an Associate of the American College of Podiatric
Sports Medicine. He is a board member of the Colorado Podiatric
Medical Association and secretary for the Central Rockies
Physicians Practice Associates. He is on staff at Vail Valley
Medical Center and Summit Medical Center. When not taking
care of patients, Brian enjoys mountain biking, skiing and
snowshoeing. He lives in Edwards with his wife and three children. |
